Prenatal & Birth Preparation

Every birth begins with alignment.

Our journey starts with a private video consultation — a complimentary meeting designed to understand your vision, your values, and the kind of support you desire during this transformative season. This conversation allows us to ensure we are the right fit.

Once we choose to work together and your booking is secured, you receive unlimited direct access to your doula via call, text, and email throughout your pregnancy. Questions, fears, shifting thoughts — bring them here.
You don’t need to Google. Ask your doula.

As your pregnancy progresses, we meet in person to prepare in depth. Between 30–37 weeks, we hold two private prenatal sessions where we:

  • Refine your birth preferences

  • Review early labor signs

  • Practice comfort techniques

  • Clarify roles for your partner and support team

  • Prepare you emotionally and practically for the unfolding experience

Beginning at 38 weeks, I am personally on call — fully available to you day and night — until your baby arrives.

Labor Support

On the day your baby chooses to arrive, you are supported with calm, evidence-based care, and unwavering presence.

Whether you birth in a hospital, birth center, or at home, I work seamlessly alongside your partner and healthcare team. My role is to protect your space, support your body, and guide you & your partner so you feel confident and steady.

Early labor support at home is available upon request, allowing you to settle into your rhythm before transitioning to your birth location.

Hands-on support may include:

  • Therapeutic massage, counter pressure, acupressure, and TENS unit

  • Water therapy support (shower or tub)

  • Breathwork and visualization

  • Positioning, movement, swaying, pelvic release, and use of birth ball/peanut ball

  • Creating a serene, grounded atmosphere

  • Hydration, nourishment, and physical grounding

  • A steady, reassuring presence through every stage

I remain with you during the immediate 2 (two) hours postpartum, offering gentle support as you meet your baby.

Continued Support After Birth

Your care does not end at delivery.

In the days following your baby’s arrival, we reconnect in the comfort of your home. Together, we process your birth experience, support breastfeeding and newborn care, and gently navigate your transition into motherhood.

This is not just support.
It is continuity, steadiness, and refined care.

Bespoke postpartum Support Includes:

*Daytime availability is 9 am to 5 pm, with a 4-hour minimum visit,

Overnight availability is 10 pm to 6 am, with an 8-hour minimum visit

Emotional Support

The postpartum season is tender. It can be filled with joy, vulnerability, exhaustion, and deep transformation — sometimes all at once.

I offer gentle, compassionate emotional support as you process your birth experience and adjust to life with your baby. I am here to listen without judgment, to reassure you when doubt arises, and to remind you that you are doing enough. You do not have to navigate this transition alone.

Physical Support

Your body has done something extraordinary, and it deserves care.

I help create a calm, nurturing environment so you can focus on rest, healing, and bonding. This may include light household tasks, simple meal preparation, and organizing your space in ways that feel supportive and peaceful.

I also offer guidance on postpartum self-care practices to support your physical recovery and overall well-being.

Infant Care Guidance

Learning your baby takes time. I provide gentle guidance in newborn care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and sleep support.

Whether you are breastfeeding, formula feeding, or combining both, I honor your choices and support you in finding what feels right for your family. My goal is to help you feel confident and connected as you grow into your new role.

Partner Support

When welcomed, I also support partners during this transition.

I offer practical suggestions on how they can best care for you and your baby, share responsibilities, and nurture a supportive home environment rooted in communication and understanding.

Thoughtfully Curated Resources

When needed, I can connect you with trusted local resources to further support your postpartum journey, including:

  • Parent support groups and community gatherings

  • Lactation consultants and feeding specialists

  • Pediatric and postpartum healthcare providers

  • Postpartum wellness and fitness offerings

  • Mental health professionals specializing in maternal care

  • Trusted books and educational materials

Overnight Postpartum Care

The early weeks with a newborn can feel especially tender during the night hours. Overnight support offers you the gift of deeper rest while knowing your baby is gently cared for.

During overnight visits, I provide attentive infant care so you can sleep with peace of mind. This may include diaper changes, soothing, settling, and bringing your baby to you for feedings. If bottle feeding, I can manage full feeds so you may rest uninterrupted. If breastfeeding, I support you in feeding comfortably and help you return to sleep with ease.

I maintain a calm, quiet presence throughout the night, ensuring your baby is safe and tended to while honoring your home’s rhythm.

Light baby-related tasks may be completed as time allows, such as washing bottles or organizing feeding supplies, folding baby’s laundry. When your baby is resting safely, I also rest nearby so that I am alert and responsive when care is needed. For families who prefer continuous awake support throughout the night, fully awake care is available at an adjusted rate.

Overnight care is designed to protect your rest, support your recovery, and help your family transition gently into this new chapter.
