THE Exact Process Description is HERE*

Prenatal & Birth Preparation. I meet each prospective client in person to understand their preferences for a doula, vision for birth, and desired care during this special time. This 1st acquaintance meeting is complimentary to get to know each other. After deciding to work together & signing all necessary paperwork, you get unlimited call, text, and email support from your doula with any questions to address any fears and concerns. Do not Google — ask your Doula. We will meet again to dive deeper into your preferences. Around the 30th- 37th week of your pregnancy, you'll have two prenatal meetings with your doula to discuss early labor signs and address any final questions or concerns. Starting at 37 weeks of your pregnancy, I am on call to support you through labor and birth.

Labor Support. On your birthing day, you’ll receive evidence-based, judgment-free, and generous support from your doula, including during immediate postpartum hours. Whether you are birthing in a hospital, birthing center, or at home with a midwife, I work collaboratively with you, your partner, and your healthcare providers. I support you throughout your birth journey and guide your partner to offer their best support with fresh ideas. Upon request, your birth doula can provide in-home early labor support before you head to your birthing location. Physical support extends to:

  • Massage, counter pressure, acupressure, TENS unit, and other coping techniques

  • Creating a calm environment and a cozy atmosphere with string lights and affirmations

  • Assisting with water therapy (shower, tub)

  • Applying warm or cold packs

  • Teaching breathing and visualization techniques

  • Guiding you to find your Ritual & Rhythm, positions, movement, swaying, pelvic rocking, or using a birth ball or a peanut ball

  • Assisting you in walking to and from the bathroom or changing clothes

  • Giving food and drinks

Ongoing Guidance After Your Birthing Day. After your baby’s birth, your doula will provide check-ins and 1-2 post-birth follow-up meetings in the comfort of your home. We will discuss and process your birth experience, and I also offer support with breastfeeding and basic newborn care. I am your doula for life, so we can stay in touch long-term. I will always support my clients throughout their lives.

Emotional Support. Postpartum can be both joyful and challenging. I will provide compassionate emotional support, helping you process your birth experience and adapt to life changes. I will listen, reassure, and encourage you as you bond with your baby and settle into your new routine.

Physical Support. I will assist with various physical tasks to make your recovery more comfortable. From light household chores to meal preparation and space organization, I help create a restful environment so you can focus on healing and bonding with your baby. I also provide sibling support and run some small errands. I also provide guidance on postpartum self-care practices to promote physical well-being.

Infant Care. Basic guidance on newborn care, including feeding, diapering, soothing techniques, and sleep strategies. I work with your family to build confidence in caring for your baby and provide practical tips to make this transition smoother. Whether you're breastfeeding, formula feeding, or a combination, I am here to support your feeding choices.
