La Leche League of Washington. The La Leche League of Washington provides support and information to breastfeeding parents. It offers meetings to connect with other breastfeeding moms and receive evidence-based information.

Call the National Breastfeeding Helpline at 1-800-994-9662. Helpline staff are trained peer counselors and can help you with common breastfeeding concerns. They answer questions about breastfeeding, returning to work or school, storing breastmilk, and more. In English and Spanish, help is available Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 pm Eastern Standard Time.

Emotional and Mental Health

National Maternal Mental Health Hotline offers 24/7 free confidential support for pregnant and new parents. Call 1-833-TLC-MAMA (1-833-852-6262). In the instance of mental health distress or a suicidal crisis, call or text the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988 for free and confidential support.
